HDTV Study
This fourteenth annual nationwide LRG study on TVs in the US focuses on consumer adoption and use of HDTVs and connected TV devices. This study tracks findings from previous years and investigates new areas to better understand how the TV market has evolved, and how these categories may progress in the future. Examining:
  • Television sets and TV usage in the household
  • Factors impacting the purchase of new TVs
  • Progress that HDTV has made over time
  • Adoption and use of Smart TVs and other connected TV devices
  • Awareness of, interest in, and purchase of 4K Ultra HDTV sets
  • Related implications for pay-TV and SVOD services
