Research Highlights

  • Lack of need is the most common reason for not subscribing to an Internet service at home

    • 47% that do not currently get an Internet service at home (and are not planning to subscribe in the next six months) cite a lack of need as the main reason for not getting an Internet service at home
      • 57% of non-computer users cite a lack of need – compared to 32% of computer user
      • 58% of ages 55+ not online at home cite a lack of need – compared to 33% of ages 18-54
